A Weekend of Road Races

Summer weekends and road races go together like the 4th of July and fireworks. From 5Ks to 10Ks, it isn’t hard to find a road race in Atlanta on any given Saturday. This weekend Fontis Water will be on hand at three different races!
Dream Dash 5K
The Dream Dash 5k is the second race of the Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series. It is a fast, flat, and well marked course with gentle hills through Kennesaw’s Main Street and Swift Cantrell Park. Race day packet pick ups start at 6:30 AM and the 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30 AM. The 5K starts at 8 AM and the Tot Trot begins at 8:55 AM. Awards will be given at 9:15 AM. Late registration and packet pickups is happening at Big Peach Running Co. in Kennesaw on June 13 and June 14. The cost to register is $30. Those registering on race day must bring cash, and the cost will be $35.  The race will start in front of Kennesaw First Baptist Church at 2958 North Main Street, Kennesaw, GA 30144. No dogs allowed, but they welcome walkers and strollers. Just remember to please start behind all runners.
Summer Steamer 5K/10K
Heat up the race on these blazing fast courses and then cool down with some great summer fun! The post block party will be filled with music, ice cream trucks, and even a foam pit to jump in while celebrating your race victory. It will be a great time for the entire family. All finishers will receive a medal and both races will be chip timed on Super Fast, USATF certified courses. Both races begin at 7:30 AM with the 1K beginning at 7:15 AM. Parking is free!
Miles to Margaritas
And finally a race we can get behind, because who does not love a good margarita? This fun race begins in Brook Run Park in Dunwoody at 8 AM. Space is limited and those registering after May 31, are not guaranteed a t-shirt. After the race enjoy a fun family fiesta party, and of course finishers will receive the much sought after race swag! As we know, runners need to stay hydrated, and for that reason, there will be plenty of Fontis Water to keep racers cool. Good luck runners and we look forward to seeing you this weekend!
