Chomp & Stomp

Join us for the annual Chomp & Stomp Chili Cook-off and Bluegrass Festival benefitting Cabbagetown parks, green spaces, and community center! Last year, we had beautiful weather, and it’s looking to be the same for 2018. You won’t want to miss the tastiest, foot-stompin’est, MOST FUN fall festival in Atlanta! You can purchase your spoons (your ticket to the festival) for $10, beer tokens for $6, & liquor tokens for $8 at ANY of our 4 WELCOME CENTERS the day of the FESTIVAL! Cash & cards will be accepted, cards encouraged. The FESTIVAL opens at 11:00am, and the CHOMPin’ starts at 12:30pm! Get there early so you don’t miss the CHILI! Porch Jams & Music at our 3 stages goes all day long. Honoring Cabbagetown’s past as a little bit of country in the big city, Chomp & Stomp aims toward old time string instruments. Originally conceived as a nod to historical residents like Fiddlin’ John Carson, Moonshine Kate, and Joyce Brookshire, it ain’t exactly perfect, but it’s a generous helping of rural traditions and fiddle flavor brought down from the mountains.
