This weekend we will celebrate the woman who gave us life … the woman who fed us … and yeah maybe the woman who fussed at us, but if it were not for Mom, where would we really be in life?
If you are celebrating Mom in Atlanta this weekend, fear not as there are numerous events you may choose from to show Mom how much she means to you. From brunches, to concerts, to
a walk in the park, Atlanta is where it’s at this Mother’s Day.
Brunch
So let’s talk brunch, because who doesn’t love food? There are brunch specials at
The Chicken and the Egg in Marietta, and
South City Kitchen and
Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Atlanta. You can learn more about Mother’s Day brunch and dining specials at
Open Table, but you better move quickly as reservations are filling up fast. We can promise you, the last thing Mom wants to do on Mother’s Day is cook.
Adventure
Maybe your Mom is a thrill seeker, then
Six Flags Over Georgia hopes you will bring her to the park. The park is also offering an amazing Mother’s Day special on Season Pass offers!
Perhaps Mom loves college football and has never been to the College Football Hall of Fame. This Sunday they will celebrate the day with a special event called
MOMVP: Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Hall of Fame. They will have special gifts and opportunities for Mom to relax all day. There will be complimentary mimosas*, chair massages and manicures provided by Pamper Perfect.* Admission is also free. Please note: Pamper Perfect will be onsite offering complimentary chair massages and manicures on the field from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Mimosas will be available from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Music
And for the moms out there who love a great music festival, don’t forget the
Shaky Beats Music Festival is this weekend. As well as the
Woodstock Summer Concert Series, where you can find plenty of Fonts of water on hand. Mark Wills will kick it off on Saturday, May 11.
