3rd Annual Garden Gallup

The Kennesaw Grand Prix series continues on with the 3rd Annual Garden Gallup.  This 5K road race will take place Saturday, November 2, and will benefit Smith-Gilbert Gardens.

The Gardens are a beautiful treasure tucked away on Pine Mountain Road in Kennesaw.  The gorgeous 16 acres are open to the public and one of the highlights is the Hiram Butler House which dates back 150 years.  The house was actually owned by Mr. Butler, a Confederate railroad man.  Butler worked the railroad lines most of his life and was present during the “Great Locomotive Chase.”  The history of the Gardens is truly a great story within itself.

The race to benefit the Gardens, which is a 501 (c) (3) organization, will include a 1 mile Fun Run which begins at 7:30 AM, a 5K at 8 AM and a tot trot at 8:55 AM.  To register and for more race details visit their website.  Fontis is proud to be the official water sponsor for the Kennesaw Grand Prix Series.
