5K in Paradise … A Chance to Chase the Moonlight

Are you ready to chase the moonlight at this year’s 5K in Paradise? Yes, that’s right this race is unlike most other 5K races. This race will begin at 1 AM on Sunday, March 8, and runners will have one hour to beat the time change at 2 AM! Madness to some, but a must do for runners looking for a different type of race challenge. And once again Fontis Water will be the official water of this exciting race.

Runners will meet at Town Center Mall, with race day registration beginning at midnight. The cost of registration is $35. Early registration can be completed on-line at Active.com or any Big Peach Running Co. location. There will be a special countdown at 2 AM, and participants will celebrate together that summer will soon be here! As runners finish, the race site will be transformed into a tropical oasis where there will be plenty of food and the drinks will flow for all.
