Taste of Acworth

Fall is in the air, and we could not ask for more perfect weather for this weekend’s Taste of Acworth. This year’s event will take place tomorrow from 10 AM to 6 PM in downtown Acworth. The event is sponsored by the Acworth Business Association and the City of Acworth and benefits many local schools and charities in the community. More than 18,000 turned out for last year’s event and with beautiful weather in the forecast, this year’s might surpass those numbers.

There will be more than 150 booths featuring local businesses and restaurants. There will be two live entertainment stages where attendees can enjoy live music and demonstrations from local talent throughout the day. There will be a fashion show at noon and the popular dog show is scheduled at 3 PM. Children will enjoy spending time in the kid zone area which will feature inflatables, quad bungee and challenging games. 

Admission is free! So make plans to attend tomorrow to try all types of restaurants offering food samples from $1 to $4. And of course there will be plenty of refreshing Fontis Water on hand. Parking will be available throughout the town at McCall Primary School Acworth Methodist Church, and Acworth First Baptist Church.
