It might have been a misty morning, but that didn’t stop runners from all across Georgia joining in the fun of “The Locomotive Half Marathon and the Locomotive Thunder 5K.” The races began this morning at Town Center Mall in Kennesaw, GA.
The half Marathon began at 7:30 AM, and the 5 K started at 8 am.
The race is one of many great races offered by locomotiveraceseries.com, and of course, the water of choice is the refreshing mountain spring water from Fontis … even in the rain.
Billed as the crown jewel of the Locomotive Race Series! The Half Marathon took in all the beauty of Kennesaw, including KSU, Towne Park, and surrounding areas! The 5K was the lightning-fast Peachtree Qualifier. The course record is actually 14:45!
