Around Town this Weekend
So much happening around town this weekend! The sun will be shining, temps in the 80s and plenty of festivals happening around Atlanta! And of course, Fontis Water will be on hand at a couple of your favorites!
Taste of Marietta
First up, The Taste of Marietta. This Sunday, April 24, locals will gather on the historic Marietta Square from 11 AM to 7 PM. There they will be able to sample food items from some of Marietta’s favorite restaurants. Taste of Marietta features more than 70 restaurants and caterers showcasing their best food. Tastes range in price from just $1 to $5. In addition, there are five live music stages and a sunset concert on the Main Stage in Glover Park. The event also features games for the kids in the Kid’s Alley, a sports corner, food trucks, and a cooking stage with celebrity chefs’ cooking demonstrations. The Taste of Marietta takes place rain or shine, and admission is free.
Cost:
Admission to the event is free, tastes range from $1 to $5 each. Unlike other festivals, tickets are not required and it is a cash-based festival. ATM machines are available. Inflatables/moonwalks in the kids corner are also available for a fee.

Inman Park Festival & Tour of Homes
Inman Park Spring Festival takes place in one of Atlanta’s oldest and most scenic neighborhoods and takes place this Saturday and Sunday. First developed in the late 1800s, Inman Park is home to many historic homes and parks. The Festival began in the early 1970s as a means to attract attention to gentrification efforts that sought to revitalize the community.
The festival offers something for everybody. Music, kids activities, a Tour of Homes, a marvelous street parade, an artists’ market, some of the city’s best people-watching. Come early, stay late, and be our guests at Atlanta’s best street festival.
The only public Festival event on Friday is the Tour of Homes preview. Booths and other events start on Saturday.
Admission
Admission to all Festival events, except the Tour of Homes, is free.
Tour of Homes tickets are $25 in advance and $30 starting Friday, April 22.
Arrival
Check out the Map page for an overview of important festival locations and for help getting here. We do not recommend driving to the neighborhood. Walk, bike, Marta, Uber, Lyft – there are plenty of other options.
So as you can see there is so much to do around town this weekend and we hope to see you at one of these two festivals!
