Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop Set for this Weekend
Piedmont Church and the Cobb County School District are getting ready for the 3rd Annual Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop this Saturday, April 19, 2014. The Egg Drop, which can draw up to 20,000 attendees, will be held at Sprayberry High School from 10 AM to 5 PM. (Individual hunt times will take place, based on grade level.) The fun begins as a helicopter drops thousands of eggs on the field, more than 90,000 to be accurate, and the children scramble to gather all the goodies they can collect. Admission is free and the Easter Bunny will be on hand for complimentary pictures as well. There will also be fun, food, games, activities and plenty of refreshing Fontis Water. The forecast for this weekend’s weather looks perfect for this event, so make plans to attend now.
