This weekend we will celebrate the woman who gave us life … the woman who fed us … and yeah maybe the woman who fussed at us, but if it were not for Mom, where would we really be in life?
If you are celebrating Mom in Atlanta this weekend, fear not as there are numerous events you may choose from to show Mom how much she means to you. From brunches, to concerts, to

a walk in the park, Atlanta is where it’s at this Mother’s Day.
So let’s talk brunch, because who doesn’t love food? There are brunch specials at the
Crooked Tree Cafe in Marietta, and
South City Kitchen and
Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Atlanta. You can learn more about Mother’s Day brunch and dining specials at
Open Table, but you better move quickly as reservations are filling up fast. We can promise you, the last thing Mom wants to do on Mother’s Day is cook.
Maybe your Mom is a thrill seeker, then
Six Flags Over Georgia hopes you will bring her to the park. If you are a season pass holder, flash that pass and Mom gets in for free!
Perhaps Mom loves college football and has never been to the College Football Hall of Fame. This Sunday they will celebrate the day with a special event called
Moms and Mimosas. Admission for Mom is free and while the family plays, Mom gets a complimentary massage, manicure, and mimosa! Attendees can enter all-day raffles to win jewelry and gift cards from Kendra Scott, and at 2:00 pm Mom can hear from football moms that know the game. Hear inspiring insights from Wilma McNabb and more as they talk about the life of a football mom before, during and after their children’s football career.
And for the moms out there who love a great music festival, don’t forget the
Shaky Knees Music Festival is this weekend. The line up features everyone from The Growlers to Third Eye Blind.
